Old vs New Way Of Generating Quality MLM Leads

High Volume Lead Generation is the name of the game in Network Marketing.  If you are seeking to generate quality MLM leads, you will consider two main paths: One is literally several decades old and the other is a product of social media.  There is a third possibility of using both methods, in a manner that fits your style. I prefer a mixture of both.   See my webinar for more through discussion on this subject:   25 ways to market online and offline.
A lot of people believe you must choose one or the other, since they believe that they are completely different styles of lead generation.  They are not.  The Online marketing only leverages what you are doing offline as you will see once you get into attraction marketing.  I recommend you use both. You may favor one over the other, so it will probably will not be a 50-50 blend; you get to decide what is best for you as you grow in knowledge.  Just remember my tag line:  You’ll either be Online or in the Bread Line.

Old Way Of Trying To Generate Quality MLM Leads

The older method for attaining quality MLM leads relies mainly on face to face marketing, first, in your warm market, and then in your cold market. Warm stands for people you know, while cold indicates individuals you come into contact with daily for the first time.
If you can get several of your closest friends and family members to join your program, which is a BIG IF, and if they all can do the same, you will be on your way to building a nice downline, while working with people you know and love.  The problem with this method is, most of your warm market is probably not interested in being a part of a multi-level marketing program. The same is true about most of the people you cross paths with every day. You are just setting yourself up for alot of rejection and frustration.
While some people with outgoing personalities have done well with the old style of getting quality MLM leads, the more modern method relies heavily on the Internet. There are a number of advantages to this. For one thing, you do not have to keep trying to get your loved ones to join you, after they have told you many times they are not interested.

New & Better Way Of Generating Quality MLM Leads

The Web allows you to broadcast your message to people who are already seeking some kind of business opportunity, and that can even include people specifically looking to join an MLM program. The beauty of this system is they will get in touch with you, and request that you tell them about your program. Sometimes they will leave a phone number for you to call them, but most of the time they will leave their name and email address.
This is known as targeting your prospects, and it is the single greatest thing you can do to get quality MLM leads. It is like the difference between selling shoes door to door, or having a shoe shop in a mall. You will make a lot more sales in the mall than on the front porch because people who want shoes will come to you.
When you embrace the modern way of generating quality mlm leads for your business, utilizing the leverage and power of the internet:
- you will never have to make another cold call again….Ever!
- no more spending hours in hotel meetings and home parties
- no hanging out at shopping malls handing out flyers
- no more chasing friends, family, strangers or your hair dresser
You have to power to attract 1000′s of hungry buyers to your business on a daily basis, and the beauty about it is when you learn and crack the code, all of it can and will be done on auto-pilot and at the push of button.
Imagine having 100′s of quality mlm leads (interested people) on a daily basis contacting you. You got to love technology.

THOUGHTS FOR A NEW YEAR

“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety. Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in. Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. This new day is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”
- RALPH WALDO EMERSON

God says it best: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead”  Phil 3:13 (NIV)

Only God can live in the past and in the future.  We were designed to live in the now and leave the past and future in His hands.

Wishing you the Many Blessings and Favor that God has for you in the coming year.

“In the absence of clearly-defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we become enslaved by it.”
– Robert Heinlein, American Novelist

Where do you want to be this time next year?

If nothing changes nothing changes.

What new skill sets are you going to learn to move into the internet world of the New Economy.

Remember “You will be online or in the bread line”

“In times of change, the learners will inherit the earth while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to succeed in a world that no longer exists.”
Eric Hoffer (1902 – 1983)

What a powerful quote for the new economy.
What we learned in the past can be used in the new economy,  but a creative factor needs to be added.

What makes you the most creative is your purpose. If you have identified your purpose you can tell by the passion behind it.

You have to make the commitment to go back to school (via Internet) and learn the new ways of marketing yourself as well as your business. How do we tell others about our purpose and passion?

What is the path we use?
Use this web site as a stepping stone for discovery. Call me or email me so we can explore together.

Remember the new economy is about collaboration.
We are both on the same course.

Blessings

“The problems we face today cannot be solved from the same level of thinking that created them.”
Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955)

Going back to kindergarden is not an option. Life is very uncomfortable because of the rapid change.

In the networking groups, I see people trying to sell something. We have given up the relationship part of the transaction of know, like and trust.

The new level of thinking means learning to give away free training, content and value so you can raise your “personal value level” to others.

In talking to my friend and fellow collaborator in the New Economy, he expressed it so well that I want to share it with you.

Power of Social Media

I recently found some interesting information on the power of social media. Do you know that statistically speaking; three-sevenths of the Americans reading this are Facebook users? Amazing! The average U.S. Internet user spends more time on Facebook than on Yahoo, Google, YouTube, Microsoft, Wikipedia and Amazon combined. Fifty million tweets (Twitter) are sent daily. Twenty percent of those tweets mention products or brands. Last October, 167 million Americans watched 28 billion videos on YouTube. Social media is now the number one activity on the Internet! At its heart, it’s all about building relationships. A difference, and the big benefit in social media, is that we build relationships with individual customers while the rest of the online world looks on.

In order to earn the right to be heard in your industry, your organization and its members must generate content for the Google search and social media world that accurately demonstrates the expertise in your organization. If you’re still unsure about participating in social media, you will want to look at a recent study by Yankee Group Research. They found that 75% of customers want to connect with the companies with whom they do business through social media.

Unlike all previous methods for connecting with customers, social media also enables two-way communications between company and client. Most importantly, social media lets your clients communicate with each other. Larry Weber’s 2007 book, Marketing to the Social Web, told us that customers believe 14% of what they hear in advertising. Contrast that with an April 2009 Nielsen survey showed that customers believe 90% of what they hear through a referral from another person. To provide a platform for those personal referrals might be the best reason of all to get involved.

John has again done a great job discussing the shift of the new economy back to relationship marketing.

People do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care.  510 Million people to call on and develop a new relationship for business.  Do you have the global business to reach them?

“When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.”
Alexander Graham Bell  (1847 – 1922)

Most of us do not like change or getting out of our comfort zone.

Part of that is due to the psychological pain of letting go and the death of an old business or job.

It may be a relationship that no longer works for us but it was still a business or job that served us for many years.

Spend the time grieving, let go and then move forward in the new economy to businesses or jobs that did not exist before.

Blessings

John

The next two videos are all about the New Economy

After you are stunned seeing this video, go to the Daniel Pink Pink video following this to see the next economy of creativity.

This video was done in 2007 and has been updated but I like the current version to show us how much has already changed since it was made.  John Smith, that is his real name, a follow collaborator and Mentor, will update My Space being overtaken by Facebook following this video.

Your purpose, path and passion give you the key to prospering in the new economy.

Are you a New Economy Entrepreneur?

What is a New Economy Entrepreneur? Below are two well-known examples:

After the 2002 launch of a social networking website, Friendster, Tom Anderson saw its potential and decided to mimic its more popular features. In August 2003, the first version of MySpace was launched and experienced exponential growth. In less than 2 years Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. bought MySpace for $580 million. It’s founder, Tom Anderson, became an instant millionaire!

On October 28, 2003, while attending Harvard as a sophomore, Mark Zuckerberg created a social networking website called Facebook in his dorm room. Facebook is the leading social networking site based on monthly visitors having overtaken its main competitor, MySpace, in April 2008.

Facebook’s growth has truly become a global phenomenon with a membership figure that’s grown to 500 million or 6% of the people in the world with 9+ million members joining monthly. As of March 2010, Facebook’s value is estimated at $35 billion! Mark Zuckerberg is now a billionaire in the new economy!

Opportunities abound within the New Economy.  Are you looking for them? Others are. This New Economy has no boundaries. It’s not limited by location. It’s the New Economy Business Model!

John Smith has done a great job discussing the scale of the new economy.  500 Million people to call on and develop a new relationship for business.  Is your business scalable? Do you need to change and/or add multiple streams of income on a global scale in the new economy.

Are you ready for the new economy?   You can either embrace it and prosper or resist it and struggle.

We had economies of agriculture, industrial, information and internet….. now we have the right brain (creative) economy.

This video will expand your thinking and prepare you for the new economy.

As you can see it calls for a paradigm shift in thinking.

Ponder on what he says: start to think about what is your purpose

Enjoy
